INSTANT POT CRISP LID FRIES
Based on a review on Amazon and a bit of experimentation!
Ingredients
- 300g russet potatoes 
- Vegetable oil 
- Salt to taste 
Serves 2 as a side dish.
Method
- Cut russet potatoes into fries (I don’t peel them but you can if you like). 
- Soak potatoes in cold water and refrigerate overnight. 
- Change the water periodically if you can remember. 
- When ready to cook, drain the water and dry fries with a paper towel or dish cloth. 
- Place fries in air fryer basket. 
- Toss with vegetable oil and salt. 
- Air fry at 400°F for 25 minutes. 
- At halfway point, turn fries, brush with oil, and lightly salt. 
- Check on fries and air fry at 400°F for an additional 5 minutes if required. 
- Serve immediately. 
Notes
- If using frozen fries, measure out 300g of fries and air fry at 400°F for 20 minutes. At halfway point, turn fries, brush with oil, and lightly salt.
