Timeline

May 8/21: My friend gifted me Tradescantia 003 as an early birthday gift, along with a couple of her propagation babies (here and here). Also known as a boat lily, this tradescantia spathacea is a stunning plant!

Jun 19/21: The purple decorative pot is beautiful, but it didn’t have drainage holes, so I decided to move Tradescantia 003 into a clay pot. It still looks stunning! I’ve repurposed the purple pot as an outer pot for one of my other plants.

Aug 22/21: I forgot to take photos but there were a couple of pups growing alongside the mother plant and one was getting very big! It was time to propagate it and you can see baby’s progress here.
